Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. The name she is most commonly used for her professional work is Aurora and often stylized with the letters in uppercase in the form of AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, was released in May of 2015 by Decca Records to great approval of bloggers in the music industry and media. Half the World Away - by the Oasis - for John Lewis' Christmas ad as well as Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole have already been two of the most notable covers the artist has done.
